Numerous races during this peak season and trainings sometimes become thrice a week. Have you forgotten your main business? Student -> Study & score some decent results. Between CCA & study, which is your priority? What is your commitment level? Any support from your parents / peers?
Was wondering about this because of numerous points:
1. Student A had to stay back for self revision because he failed common test.
2. Student B had to leave training earlier because there's tuition for a test tomorrow.
3. Student C asked to be excused from training because he needed time to study for tests / his parents want him home early to revise for test tomorrow.
4. Teacher A commented student D asked to be excused from make-up lesson because there is extra training for race. But make-up lesson is hardly like remedial; the former is to teach new stuff (likely due to lack of time); the latter serves more as recap & revision purpose.
5. Teacher B commented student E sleeps during lessons… (“really sian” or “tired” or “makes no difference whether I listen or not”, etc, etc)
* note:‘commented' is NOT the same as‘complained' =)

The above mentioned are not just a few particular student athletes but quite a big handful.
How many of you are really coping–with BOTH study and CCA? If not, when is the time to do something about it? SOON!
Term 2 is v short & in a month's time (27th Apr), it's MYE! CCA usually ceases 2 weeks prior exams but the National Xcountry this year is late (23rd Apr) - HOW?
How many of you can still commit to the trainings as the dates (23rd, 27th Apr) draw near?
Thinking back (10 years+++), I was always in awe of how those student athletes managed their time; they seem to juggle both studies and CCA (be in Xcountry, Track, Basketball or Volleyball) effortlessly!
Guess it's not easy; either they don't sleep as much (as I do back then) or they got their fairy godma/godpa to help (??)
